It's time to get to know your internet marketing team a little bit better!

Our MSW Interactive Designs team has grown again! We have a flourishing group of employees, and it seems like we're always adding to the fun. We're proud to introduce our new rockstar employee, Chasiti Begley. She has jumped in, and already become an integral part of our team. Here are some fun facts about Chasiti to help you get to know her a bit!

Q: What brought you to the Lake of the Ozarks?

A: I grew up in the Lake area. Right after high school I moved to St. Louis to complete a baking and pastry program for a year. I was dead set that I didn’t want to stay home and go to college locally. After I finished up my baking and pastry program, I moved to Branson, Mo to complete my bachelor’s degree. After I spent a year in St. Louis, I realized I was not cut out to be a city girl and once I completed my bachelor’s degree, I knew I would want to come back home to be close to family and friends.

Q: How did you get started in the internet marketing field?

A: When I went to college, I knew I wanted to get a business degree, but I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with it. After I took my first marketing class, I fell in love with all aspects of marketing and knew that I wanted to be involved in marketing in some fashion. After researching what I could do in the marketing field, I realized starting out if you wanted a marketing job you almost had to work in a corporate office somewhere. I knew I didn’t want to move to a big city, so corporate was out for me. I have always loved social media and I quickly realized that social media and the internet is changing how businesses advertise in a big way. I am a very practical person, so I wanted to gear my career towards something that has high job stability. Let’s face it the internet isn’t going anywhere. So, my senior year in college I decided I wanted to get into internet marketing. The summer before I graduated I researched internet marking companies at the Lake of the Ozarks. I quickly realized that MSW Interactive Designs was the best internet marketing company in the area. I wanted to work for the best, so I reached out to Mike and Sandy and here I am now!

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: I love getting to learn all kinds of things about businesses at the lake. I haven’t worked here long, but I have already learned so many things about a variety of topics. I made a joke the other day that the MSW team would be great contestants on Jeopardy or some other trivia game show, but it’s true.

Q: What’s your favorite thing to do when you’re not at work?

A: I love doing anything outside. Kayaking is one of my favorite activites and the lake area is the perfect place to have that hobby because there are tons of places to take my boat out. If it’s too cold to kayak, you can find me in the kitchen trying out a new recipe or baking something. Playing with my two dogs is also at the top of the list! Hanging out with my husband, family, and friends is also very important to me.

Q: Who’s your family?

A: I recently got married to my best friend, Levi (December 2017). We were high school sweethearts and dated for 6 years before we got married. I consider our two dogs our fur babies. We plan on having children eventually, but in the very distant future.

I am also very close to my grandparents. I love having family dinners at their house with my dad, brother, aunts, uncles, and cousins. My mother is who inspired me to love cooking and baking. We have spent a lot of time in the kitchen together, and still do.

Q: What did you want to be when you grew up?

A: When I was little, I always dreamed of being an art teacher. I loved to make crafts, draw, and paint. I would spend hours making things in my room from my “craft box”. I can remember at family dinners at my grandma’s house, I would always make placemats with everyone’s name on them. (I also did this because I wanted to tell everyone where to sit, Lol) Clearly, at that time I would have made a good teacher. As I got older, I still liked to do artsy things but there was no way I would make a good teacher.

Q: What’s something that very few people know about you?

A: This question brings me back to high school and college on the first day of classes. This question is almost always asked I never know what to say! I guess I’m an open book, nothing to hide here.

Q: What’s on your bucket list?

A: Honestly, I would just like to do a lot of traveling. I hope to be able to see a lot of different parts of the world and United States. My bucket list is to start traveling now, and not waiting until I’m older and “have time to travel.”

Q: Who inspires you?

A: My Aunt Jenny is who inspires me. She is a go getter and has advanced in her career to become a very successful woman. Growing up I was very close to her, she calls me her “practice child”. She inspired me to go to college and helped me along the way. I owe a lot of my education success to her.

Q: What is your favorite social media platform and why?

A: I would say Facebook is my favorite platform. I love that there are so many people on Facebook from all different generations. If you want to know something about someone, look at their Facebook. It’s a great resource to keep up with everyone. You can learn a lot about people and their lives just by getting on Facebook. I also like to take a comedic break and watch all the videos people share.
