GET TO KNOW US - Meet Bailey Puppel

It's time to get to know your internet marketing team a little bit better!

Relationships are a two-way street. Just as we make a point to get to know our clients, we make it easy for our clients to get to know us as well. When you choose MSW Interactive Designs, LLC to design and host your website or manage your social media, we want you to feel confident in your decision. We are currently in the middle of a blog series designed to help you get to know our team of internet marketing professionals at the Lake of the Ozarks a little bit better. This week, we're continuing the series with our Internet Marketing Specialist, Bailey Puppel.

Q:  What brought you to the Lake of the Ozarks?
A:  My dad's career brought my family to the Lake Area when I was only 10 months old. I grew up in Camdenton. I always expected to move away eventually, but when I left to attend college at William Woods University in Fulton, I discovered that I missed the Lake. Since my husband's family and mine are both in the area, we decided it made sense for us to stay local after I graduated college.

Q:  How did you get started in the internet marketing field?
A:  It's kind of a funny story. I heard about an opening at MSW during the fall semester of my senior year of college. I thought it sounded interesting, so I applied and set up an interview. Since I still had another semester of school left, I assumed the timing wouldn't work out - I mainly considered this interview to be practice for when I legitimately began job-hunting in a few months. During the course of the interview, I found myself feeling very drawn to the company and wishing that I didn't have any school left so that I could go ahead and take the position. As I had expected, it didn't work out at that time... but the stars aligned and at the end of March, I got a message from Mike Waggett saying they were hiring again and asking if I was still interested/available after graduation. You bet I was!

Q:  What do you like most about your job?
A:  I love that my job enables me to learn so much about so many different industries. I have managed social media, written blogs, and built newsletters for tons of different industries: auto sales, real estate, title insurance, wedding planning, law firms, psychotherapy, banking, aerial photography, residential and commercial power washing, and more. Learning the ins and outs of each new industry presents an exciting challenge.

Q:  What's your favorite thing to do when you're not at work?
A:  I spend time with my family as much time as possible. We love outdoorsy activities and make a point to get outside often. We enjoy hiking, camping, kayaking, paddle-boarding, swimming, etc. We love watching movies and playing games, too.

Q:  Who's your family?
A:  I am married to my best friend, Darin Puppel. He provides CranioSacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, and Massage Therapy at his private practice: Infinite Touch Integrative Therapies, LLC. We recently welcomed our first child into the world - a little boy named Shiloh. We have two miniature dachshunds named Carla and Lizzy, as well as a tabby cat named Jace. My dad, David Campanini, is the owner of C. Clarity Consulting. Darin's mom, Sharon Hagan, owns Lime in the Coconut Specialty Compounding Pharmacy.

Q:  What did you want to be when you grew up?
A:  When I was young, I wanted to be a famous actor. I started college as a theatre major, but once there I discovered my love of communications and switched my major.

Q:  What's something that very few people know about you?
A:  The summer between my freshman and sophomore years of college, I worked as First Mate Roxy on the pirate ship at Captain Ron's. I spent my summer helping kids hunt for buried treasure, learning the "pirate code," and firing "cannons" into the Lake of the Ozarks. It was a blast!

Q:  What's on your bucket list?
A:  My bucket list mainly consists of traveling. I am fortunate to have already traveled a great deal in my life, but there are still countless different countries and states that I would love to experience with my family.

Q:  What is your favorite social media platform and why?
A:  Facebook is pretty much the only platform I use in my personal time. I enjoy the way it enables friends and family members to easily keep up with what's going on in each other's lives.

Q:  Who inspires you?
A:  My husband inspires me every single day with his continued commitment to his career, his family, and his personal development. I am also inspired by the other great role models in my life - my parents and in-laws, my grandparents, and of course my bosses, Mike and Sandy Waggett.
