Thank You to Our Veterans from MSW Interactive Designs

Veterans Day is a national holiday paying tribute to all American veterans.  It originated as "Armistice Day" on November 11, 1919, the first anniversary of the end of World War I.  In 1926, Congress passed a resolution for an annual observance and November 11 became a national holiday beginning in 1938.

Originally the concept of the holiday included parades and public meetings, with a brief suspension of business beginning at 11 am. Today, many of these traditions still take place and many businesses shut down for the day.
